Synthetic

MetaLube offers high-performance synthetic corrosion inhibitors that leave a very thin, water-soluble film on coated surfaces. Bath concentration is monitored using a refractometer, and the amount of residual coating is influenced by the concentration. These products are free of petroleum, secondary amines, and nitrites and are formulated for compatibility with multiple metals.

Evaporative

Our solvent-based corrosion inhibitors displace water and deposit a thin layer on coated surfaces that acts as a physical barrier against corrosion. These products may be applied by spray, flood, dip, or brush to achieve a uniform coating. This product class is ideal for protecting parts during shipping and long-term storage.

Emulsifiable Oil

Emulsifiable-oil corrosion inhibitors leave a soft, non-tacky film on coated surfaces that protects the underlying metal. The amount of residual coating is influenced by the bath concentration, which can be easily monitored using a handheld refractometer. This product class is ideal for protecting parts during shipping and storage.

Oil Based

Oil-based corrosion inhibitors provide reliable protection by forming a durable oil film that repels moisture and creates a protective barrier against rust and corrosion. These formulations help prevent oxidation, preserve surface integrity, and extend the life of valuable components.
